Vegetation Change 1976-1980 through Spectral Mixture Analysis

This image shows areas with drastic increases in vegetation cover. The larger bright areas are most likely areas that were brought under cultivation between the years 1976-1980 due to the increased availability of irrigation. This same region can be viewed in more detail in using the high resolution data in Figure 24.
