This plot shows the
values of each pixel in the northern scene plotted by their vegetation values
according to NDVI and SMA results. If the results were correlated linearly then
the majority of pixels would fall along a best-fit line. As this plot shows,
there are levels of vegetation where there is not a tight linear correlation and
therefore some discrepancies exist between the results of vegetation abundance
as calculated by NDVI and those calculated by SMA.
