plot shows the values of each pixel in the northern scene plotted by their
vegetation values according to NDVI and SMA results. Each color represents a
small, equal increment of vegetation abundance as calculated by SMA. As
comparison between this plot and Figure 10
illustrates, SMA has greater sensitivity to small differences in high vegetation
abundance than NDVI.
