Maps

This section contains the maps that show the results of buildout. The maps are provided using ArcInfo Internet Map Server (IMS), and they are also available in printable form. ARCIMS allows users to view and manipulate maps through their browser. They may take a while to download, so please be patient.

Detailed instructions on how to use these maps are available here. (RIDEM)
A shorter list of tools on the maps is available here. (RIDEM)

Interactive Map of Buildout - This map shows the number of units in each parcel at buildout. The number of units in parcels that have room for additional units is labeled above each parcel. (Internet Explorer 5.0 or Netscape 4.7 only, this feature is not compatible with Netscape 6)

Buildout Map as an Image - This map is a GIF image of the buildout map. It can be printed out on regular size paper in black and white. This map shows the approximate number of units at buildout by representing them as dots. Each dot is equivalent to one unit, and its location is within the parcel where it will be built. Also available is a similar map of the current state of Charlestown using the same methodology.

Below are the Buildout Maps: Each dot represents one house
