Do employees of agencies, universities, and community
organizations carry a different perspective than the
lay-citizen? Since oftentimes it is personnel of government
offices and organizations that make most of the decisions
and since these entities often claim to speak for the
general public, it is important to determine whether
the interests of the organization are aligned with and
in touch with the interests of their constituents.
The basic similarities in these findings suggest that
the agencies and community organizations have priorities
in line with the public and with each others. If this
is the case, it would seem that the Approach's goal
of integrating different stakeholder interests is not
highly applicable since the stakeholder interests are
not very different to begin with.
