The area that is of most concern is not where there is an increase in development, but where there was no protection in the past and where protection in the future is critical. Mill Creek can be seen entering the property from the north and running through the center of the site. It is required by RI law that this stream and it's 100 foot buffer be protected. There is no presently active land use along the entirety of Mill Creek so there is no reason for there not to be plans for open space protection within the creek's regulated boundaries.
