Tanner Block Case Study

In 1996, the Providence-based nonprofit organization Stop Wasting Abandoned Properties (SWAP) undertook a renovation project on 9 abandoned houses in South Providence. Called the "Tanner Block Project," these houses were converted into low-interest home ownerships and rentals.
