What is contributing to problems - "What do you feel might be contributing to crime or annoying behavior in the park?"

Five people responded to this question, and several reasons for the negative conditions in the park were suggested:
- neighborhood has big drug problem
- it's a public park - what can you expect
- people don't take responsibility for the park

What could be changed to improve negative conditions - "What kinds of changes in or around the park would make you feel safer and more comfortable here?"

One respondent cited several changes he would like to see, including the construction of the proposed fence in the back of the park, more police presence and police who care, and a neighborhood effort to change the situation.
