Carbon Sequestration Urban Heat Islands Energy Conservation   The following models represent the potential carbon sequestration for several suggested urban/suburban tree planting programs for the state of Rhode Island. These models represent an unattainable ideal goal. The present a scenario in which do dead material is wasted, and that the tress that are planted follow a specific growth curve used by the US Department of Energy for a voluntary emissions reporting program. Again, they represent an ideal world potential sequestration level, and like the ideal world of physics this world of sequestration is not realistic.
