| The
Comprehensive Plan directs future large-scale commercial
growth into two areas of Hopkinton, Exit 1 and Exit 2
off Route 95. Specific plans for neighborhood commercial
growth are not delineated, allowing expansion to be considered
by special use designation at the Village level. The villages
of Ashaway and Hope Valley were recently certified for
commerical and residential revitalization. They have received
money by HUD under the Community

Additionally, there is potential for increased commerical
activity in Hope Valley due to its proximity to Exit 3. |
