Most
developed land in Hopkinton is residential. Although single-family
houses predominate, since the mid 1980s, there has been
an increase in the number of permits issued for multifamily
residences. Commercial zoning is concentrated in the villages
of Hopkinton, Ashaway, and Hope Valley, as well as along
main roads. Although Hopkinton has a fair amount of property
zoned for industrial use, less than five percent of this
land is being used for industrial purposes. |
