DEM impaired water bodies
|
 |
Surface water, including
lakes, ponds, streams, and wetlands, are commonplace in
Hopkinton. They contribute to scenic beauty and provide
a location for recreation. |
Surface water exists where the
water table (groundwater) breaches the surface. For
this reason, it is essential that surface water be protected.
